The West Bengal government organized civil honors for President Draupadi Murmu at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata, where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Governor CV Anand Bose were present. President Draupadi Murmu expressed her delight at the warm reception and praised the sweetness of the Bengali language, saying it made her feel closer to the people. Mamata Banerjee presented the President with an idol of Maa Durga and addressed her as the Golden Lady.
